Using the archive’s FTP browser

The FTP browser page for accessing the archive’s FTP folder with Keeping Culture KMS

Your archive’s FTP folder can be accessed through the FTP browser page. This is a convenient and fast way to access, upload and manage the files in the archive’s FTP folder without the need for a dedicated FTP client, like FileZilla.

However, it does have a couple of limitations. Firstly, you cannot upload files greater than 2 GB in size, so this rules out uploading large movie files. Secondly, uploading multiple files can be less reliable in the browser. For these reasons, administrators should not rely on the FTP browser functionality alone when managing files on the archive’s FTP folder.

Navigation steps to access the FTP browser page in Keeping Culture KMS.

The FTP browser page is located at:

  1. Main Menu
  2. Administration tab
  3. FTP browser hyperlink

Your User account must have Administration access and Access FTP browser permissions enabled to access the FTP browser page.

If the hyperlinks, pages and resources for the FTP browser are not available on the archive, try logging in with an account with higher administrative privileges or as a Super Administrator.
