Stay on topic.
We are all busy people so pay attention to the subject matter of your messages, and check that it relates to the forum or Knowledge Base article to which you are posting. Off-topic discussions and rants will be removed.
Be kind and inclusive.
Your fellow contributors expertise and experience is going to be different to your own. As such, if someone asks an obvious or ‘wrong’ question, politely point out where they made their mistake and point them in the right direction.
Please do not post the same message, question or reply to multiple forum threads or comment streams. Duplicate postings will be closed or deleted.
These support forums and Knowledge Base articles are for discussions related to the Keeping Culture KMS®. As such, discussions about which browser is better, or whether iOS is better than Android, are not appropriate here.
Identify your subject matter.
Identify your subject matter clearly in the subject line. Vague subjects like urgent help needed are not very helpful.
Trim your follow-ups.
Do not quote the entire content of the message to which you are replying. Include only as much as is necessary for context. A good rule of thumb is, don’t include more quoted text than new text.
Post HTML at your own risk.
You will reach a larger audience if you post in plain-text. Many people simply ignore HTML messages, because it takes a nontrivial amount of effort to read them.
Don’t use forums and comments for bug reporting.
If you are confident you have encountered a bug with Keeping Culture KMS®, please take the time to report the bug using the support request form.
No “unsubscribe me” messages.
Please do not post “unsubscribe me” messages in the support forums or Knowledge Base articles .If you wish to unsubscribe to a forum thread, use the ‘Unsubscribe’ button at the top of the forum page you want to unsubscribe from. Alternatively, use the support request form to ask to be removed from a forum.
No “test” messages.
Please do not post test messages or comments to the support forums or knowledge base articles.
Don’t post private or confidential information.
This should go without saying, but do not:
post your email address or other contact information,
ask others to post their email or contact information,
solicit contacting people outside of the forums, or
post usernames, passwords or other information that is deemed confidential.
